About me

Hi! I am a graduate student doing my PhD in Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.  I completed my MSc in the same department in Fall 2020. I am working as a research assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab under the supervision of Professor Dr. Andrea Bunt
My research interests are in the areas of human-computer interaction and human-centered AI. I am interested to work with explainable AI systems, designing and personalizing explanations, and study the factors that impact the perception of AI explanations. Currently, I am doing research on studying explanations that focus on training data and how they can impact end-users' perception of machine learning systems.

I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2016 at the Islamic University of Technology, Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
